Kabel Deutschland provides DSL internet services from 6Mbit/s to 32Mbit/s. If you order "Internet & Telefon 32" from Kabel Deutschland online now, you can get a 50€ bonus and a WLAN-Router for free. "Internet & Telefon 6plus" and "Internet & Telefon 32" are on sale but only until February 6th 2011. The internet services of Kabel Deutschland can be ordered with or without their Cable TV services.

About Kabel Deutschland

Kabel Deutschland has been rewarded numerous awards from various independent institutions and renowned publications for its fair prices, good service and excellent value for money. If you live in Hamburg, Hannover or Muenchen, you have the possibility to get one of the fastest internet connections available in Germany (100Mbit/s) Unlike other cable providers, Kabel Deutschland allows customers to only order telephone and internet services from them (without their cable TV system). This is particularly attractive to those customers, who prefer watching TV with DVB-T or on the internet.

Kabel Deutschland offers 9 different digital cable packages, which are particularly attractive to non-German customers. Watch your favorite programs from your homeland. Packages are available in English, Turkish (Premium and Basic), Russian, Polish, Italian, Spanish, Portugese and Greek. Kabel Digital Englisch offers AXN, BBC Entertainment, Boomerang, Disney XD, ESPN America, Cartoon Network, MTV Hits, MTV Dance, National Geographic, Playhouse Disney, TNT Film, TNT Serie, VH1 Classic, and BBC World Service.

13 states in Germany are covered by Kabel Deutschland: only Baden-Wuerttemberg, Hesse and North Rhine-Westphalia are not within the scope of their coverage. Monthly cost for cable TV is 17.90€, which includes about 30 analog and 100 digital TV channels.

1&1 is our current favorite and all-round recommendation with their reasonable prices and stable network performance. Currently the broadest bandwidth you can get from 1&1 is 50Mbit/s.The HomeServer (included in HomeNet s) is one of the best WLAN Routers in the market. You even get a 1000GB online storage for free, if you choose one of the HomeNet s. With it you can access and share any kind of file (e.g. videos and photos) from anywhere and with anyone (that's cheaper than buying your own domain for sharing files online!). Additionally their HomeNet s offer an entertainment , which gives you access to their huge online video library and internet radio.

Currently 1&1 offers the cheapest DSL internet service on the market: 2Mbit/s for only 14.99€ per month. (2Mbit/s is usually sufficient for light and medium internet users, for example, if you use the internet for general surfing and email use and only occasionally download music/video clips)

Versatel is also a good deal. It's a bit more expensive than 1&1, but worth the few extra Euros, if you want a package which is tailored to your specific needs. They allow you to mix and match their services for a "customized“, cost-effective package.
