Tele2 is one of Europe's biggest telecommunications operators with more than 25 million customers in 10 countries. Tele2 provides both tradiontal DSL internet service based on Deutsche Telekom and modern all-inclusive-services (no need to use Deutsche Telekom's network). For the all-inclusive-package a customer only has to pay 5 euro more than the traditional DSL package. New customers can get a monthly 5€ bonus for the first 6 months, if they sign a Tele2 contract this month. If the order is made online, you can get an additional 30€ bonus.

About Tele2

Tele2 is a Swedish company founded in 1993 and Tele2 Germany is its subsidiary. Tele2 Germany offers mainly fixed-line telephone, cordless telephone, DSL, IP telephony and cable television services to private and business customers. Reasonable price, comfort and ease of use are the charateristics of Tele2's products and services. Customers can get also all-inclusive-service (DSL internet services plus telephone services) from Tele2 for an affordable price.

Although Tele2's predecessor operated mainly in telephone services and entered the DSL market relatively late, because they started offering internet and telephone services without Deutsche Telekom early and because of their relatively short minimum contract period and resonable prices, Tele2 has come to occupy a certain share in the DSL internet market.

Currently 1&1 offers the cheapest DSL internet service on the market: 2Mbit/s for only 14.99€ per month. (2Mbit/s is usually sufficient for light and medium internet users, for example, if you use the internet for general surfing and email use and only occasionally download music/video clips)

Versatel is also a good deal. It's a bit more expensive than 1&1, but worth the few extra Euros, if you want a package which is tailored to your specific needs. They allow you to mix and match their services for a "customized“, cost-effective package.
