Versatel offers customizable products. Customers can combine different internet and telephone services to fit their specific needs. For example a customer can get the DSL 2000 plus ISDN connection for 19.99€ per month to begin with, then add other Veratel services and add-on products later. Of course the all-inclusive DSL package (DSL + Telephone flat rate)is even better: you only need to pay 29.90€ for their Pure DSL 6000.
Currently you can get 5€ call bonus every month, if you order their Pure DSL 6000 or Plus DSL 16000 package this month. You can also get a WLAN router (FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7170) for 3.5€/month (normal price: 199€).

The company's network service covers approximately 170 cities and towns, or about 20% of the total area of Germany. The company's phone business is located in Berlin, with headquarters in Duesseldorf. Versatel’s telephone network infrastructure is the second best in Gremany (after Deutsche Telekom). They offer optical network (also like Deutsche Telekom). Their quick and professional customer service is noteworthy and has gained a lot of customer satisfaction.

Currently the broadest bandwidth you can get from 1&1 is 50Mbit/s.The HomeServer (included in HomeNet s) is one of the best WLAN Routers in the market. You even get a 1000GB online storage for free, if you choose one of the HomeNet s. With it you can access and share any kind of file (e.g. videos and photos) from anywhere and with anyone (that's cheaper than buying your own domain for sharing files online!). Additionally their HomeNet s offer an entertainment , which gives you access to their huge online video library and internet radio.

Currently 1&1 offers the cheapest DSL internet service on the market: 2Mbit/s for only 14.99€ per month. (2Mbit/s is usually sufficient for light and medium internet users, for example, if you use the internet for general surfing and email use and only occasionally download music/video clips)

Versatel is also a good deal. It's a bit more expensive than 1&1, but worth the few extra Euros, if you want a package which is tailored to your specific needs. They allow you to mix and match their services for a "customized“, cost-effective package.
